Senior Contracts Manager - FSP

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Contracts Manager - FSP in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of clinical operations, legal contracting, and cross-functional program delivery within a fast-paced clinical research environment. You will play a critical part in enabling timely and compliant execution of clinical study agreements, vendor contracts, and site budgets that support global clinical trials. Acting as both a subject matter expert and operational driver, you will ensure contracting processes align with study timelines and regulatory expectations. The position requires close collaboration with clinical teams, sponsors, and external partners across multiple regions. You will also contribute to process design, optimization, and governance of contracting workflows. This is a high-impact opportunity for a detail-oriented contracts professional who thrives in complex, regulated environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the review, drafting, negotiation, and tracking of clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, site contracts, vendor agreements, and related legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all stages.
  • Lead site budget negotiations and support alignment between contractual terms and operational study requirements in collaboration with clinical operations and sponsor teams.
  • Establish, refine, and improve contract management processes, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency, standardization, and timely execution across global studies.
  • Monitor contract status, milestones, expirations, and obligations while maintaining accurate reporting, dashboards, and contract databases for visibility and governance.
  • Escalate and resolve complex contractual or operational issues with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure continuity of study delivery.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Study Management, and external vendors to support execution, onboarding, and ongoing study support activities.
  • Mentor junior contracts team members and contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

This role requires strong experience in clinical contracts management within healthcare or life sciences environments, combined with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Candidates should bring the ability to balance legal precision with operational urgency in global clinical trial settings.

  • 7+ years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating clinical trial agreements, vendor contracts, and site budgets within clinical research or healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations workflows, study timelines, and cross-functional coordination with sponsors, CROs, and clinical teams.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders across the US, Europe, and/or APAC regions in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish contracting processes, manage complex contract portfolios, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in virtual teams.
  • Strong business judgment, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range: $110,700 – $166,100 USD
  • Eligibility for annual discretionary bonus
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement savings plan with employer support (e.g., 401(k))
  • Paid time off, including vacation days and sick leave
  • Parental leave and family bonding support programs
  • Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
  • Flexible remote work environment within a collaborative, global team structure
