This role sits at the intersection of advanced medical research, clinical insight, and patient-centered care navigation, supporting individuals facing some of the most complex and challenging health conditions. You will lead deep-dive research efforts across clinical records, molecular diagnostics, and global medical literature to identify and evaluate the most effective diagnostic and treatment pathways. Working closely with clinicians and care teams, you will translate complex scientific evidence into clear, actionable guidance that supports informed decision-making for patients and families. The position requires strong analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to synthesize rapidly evolving medical evidence into practical insights. You will also contribute to identifying clinical trials, engaging external experts, and building comprehensive patient-focused reports. This is a highly mission-driven environment where your work directly influences care decisions and patient outcomes.
- Lead research and analysis of complex patient cases by reviewing medical records, extracting clinical data, and identifying relevant diagnostic and treatment pathways.
- Conduct in-depth literature reviews across peer-reviewed medical sources to evaluate evidence-based treatments and emerging therapies.
- Interpret molecular diagnostics, laboratory results, and clinical findings to support accurate, data-driven care recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize treatment options, including standard-of-care guidelines, investigational therapies, and clinical trial opportunities.
- Support clinicians in client-facing discussions by presenting research insights and contributing to shared decision-making.
- Identify and evaluate clinical trials, including database research, evidence synthesis, and direct outreach to trial sites.
- Develop patient-friendly reports, presentations, and data visualizations to clearly communicate complex medical information.
Requirements:
- PhD in a scientific or healthcare-related field is required, with early-career experience in complex medical conditions.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or orthopedic experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in medical research methodologies and tools such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and clinical databases.
- Ability to interpret complex clinical, molecular, and laboratory data with high analytical rigor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into patient-friendly language.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in complex healthcare contexts.
