Dietary Aide in Ortonville, Minnesota at Ortonville Area Health Services

Fairway View Senior Communities seeks a Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide performs a variety of dietary activities including preparing foods, portioning foods, setting up trays, clearing tables, racking and washing dishes, pots and pans, maintaining a sanitary environment. They also assist with transporting food to the medical campus during meal periods.

Additional duties include:

• Demonstrates understanding of procedures relating to food handling, dish washing, sanitizing work and eating surfaces
• Follows proper safety and infection control procedures in food and dish handling
• Demonstrates cooperation and team spirit when working with staff/residents/patients
• Works with others in the department and throughout the organization in a positive manner of those served and the department

Hours and Pay:

• Part time hours 4:00-7:30pm
• Additional hours available during the week if desired
• $1.00 evening shift differential, $6.00 differential for picking up shifts
• Alternating weekends, with holiday rotation
• Retirement with Employer match
• Paid Time Off
• Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $24.11
