Account Manager-Supplements

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager – Supplements based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, nutrition science, and customer partnership, focused on expanding a portfolio of clinically backed functional ingredients within the nutritional supplements market across North America. You will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive growth with key brand owners, distributors, and strategic partners. The position requires a strong understanding of the supplements industry, including market dynamics, regulatory considerations, and emerging consumer trends. You will act as a primary commercial contact, building long-term relationships while identifying new opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Working cross-functionally with scientific, regulatory, marketing, and product teams, you will help translate customer needs into scalable solutions. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role within a fast-moving, global environment focused on health and wellness innovation.

Accountabilities:

Lead commercial growth efforts for the Proactive Health (PAH) portfolio across the North American supplements market by developing and executing targeted account strategies. Identify, prioritize, and develop relationships with key customers, while driving pipeline growth, managing opportunities, and ensuring successful execution of commercial plans. Act as a central point of contact for customers, aligning internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and long-term partnerships.

  • Drive sales and business development for the PAH supplements portfolio in the NAMER region
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for targeted accounts and brand owners
  • Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline, tracking performance and conversion rates
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into product and innovation opportunities
  • Collaborate with regulatory, marketing, product management, and scientific teams
  • Manage distributor and direct account relationships to maximize market penetration
  • Organize customer workshops, industry events, and scientific collaborations
  • Oversee budget tracking, reporting, and commercial performance for assigned accounts
  • Map customer routes-to-market, including OEM/ODM opportunities
Requirements

Candidates should bring strong commercial experience in nutritional supplements or functional ingredients, with a proven ability to develop new business and expand market share. A deep understanding of supplement technologies, regulations, and customer ecosystems is essential. The ideal profile is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and highly strategic, with strong execution and project management capabilities.

  • 7+ years of commercial experience in functional ingredients, nutrition, or supplements
  • Strong knowledge of nutritional supplement technologies, market trends, and regulations
  • Proven track record in business development and launching new products
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
