Accountabilities:

  • Connect front-end portal components with IAM services and backend systems across a modernized platform architecture
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain APIs within gateways and developer portal environments
  • Perform data transformation and integration across middleware layers, orchestration tools, and IAM platforms
  • Troubleshoot API issues using logs, simulators, and diagnostic tools to ensure system stability and performance
  • Collaborate with IAM engineers, application teams, and global stakeholders to deliver consistent integration outcomes
  • Support phased rollout activities across multiple regions and time zones
  • Contribute to SDLC processes, including automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines
Requirements:
  • 3–6 years of experience in API development and system integration
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design best practices
  • Hands-on experience with API gateways and developer portal deployments
  • Familiarity with identity provisioning protocols such as SCIM and LDAP
  • Experience working across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or SaaS platforms
  • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, cURL, or similar
  • Understanding of SDLC processes and CI/CD or automated deployment workflows
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed global teams across time zones
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as IBM Security Verify, Ping Identity, or similar is a plus
  • Familiarity with APM tools and monitoring practices is an advantage
  • Knowledge of secrets management and secure key handling practices is a plus
Benefits:
  • Competitive contractor compensation (based on experience and market standards)
  • Remote-friendly engagement within the United States
  • Opportunity to work on a large-scale enterprise IAM modernization program
  • Exposure to modern API, cloud, and identity management technologies
  • Collaborative global engineering environment
  • Potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs
