Job Description
General Nature of Duties
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our full-time Cardiology Nocturnal Team, supporting a group of nationally recognized, top-tier cardiologists. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who is passionate about practicing at the top of their license, delivering exceptional patient care, and contributing to a high-performing cardiovascular service line. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care using established standards, practice protocols, and clinical guidelines.
Perform comprehensive histories, physical exams, daily progress notes, discharge/transfer summaries.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies within scope.
Monitor patient response, modify care plans, and provide patient/family education.
Document patient encounters using the S.O.A.P. format; complete all records accurately and timely.
Coordinate referrals, interdisciplinary communication, and patient advocacy.
Participate in research, quality improvement, continuing education, and professional development activities.
Precept students/new staff and support clinic operations as needed.
Maintain BLS/ACLS and required clinical competencies.
Compensation: Pay starting at $112,000 plus an additional night shift differential
