This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Business Systems & Transformation based in the United States.
This executive leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end strategy for enterprise business systems across the full customer lifecycle, from quote to cash.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping how core business platforms, processes, and data flows operate at scale in a high-growth environment.
The position focuses on aligning cross-functional teams around a unified systems and transformation roadmap that enhances efficiency and customer experience.
You will lead the evaluation and modernization of critical enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic vision and hands-on transformation leadership across complex SaaS ecosystems.
You will act as a key advisor to executive leadership, influencing technology investments and business process evolution.
The environment is highly collaborative, data-driven, and centered on large-scale operational transformation.
- Define and lead the enterprise business systems strategy, including CRM, ERP, Customer Success, Billing, Contact Center, and data/reporting platforms, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
- Conduct a full assessment of the current systems landscape, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation, simplification, and technical debt reduction.
- Design and optimize the end-to-end quote-to-cash lifecycle, spanning lead management, opportunity progression, quoting, contracting, onboarding, billing, renewals, and expansion.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase revenue realization, operational efficiency, and customer experience quality.
- Oversee the architecture and integration of enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, CCaaS solutions, billing systems, and support technologies.
- Establish governance frameworks for business systems investments, prioritization, and transformation initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Support, Product, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Define KPIs and success metrics to measure transformation impact and ensure continuous improvement.
- Drive execution of large-scale transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
- Build internal capabilities, operating models, and organizational structures to support scalable growth.
- 12+ years of experience in business systems leadership, enterprise applications, or digital transformation roles within complex organizations.
- Proven expertise in designing and optimizing quote-to-cash processes, ideally within SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, billing/subscription systems, CCaaS/contact center tools, and customer support technologies.
- Strong track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience developing business cases, technology roadmaps, and long-term systems strategies.
- Strong understanding of subscription-based business models and revenue operations is highly desirable.
- Background in enterprise systems consulting, digital transformation, or RevOps is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is considered an asset.
