Frank Beer Distributors in Milton, WI is now hiring an Area Sales Manager. The team members of Frank Beer Distributors are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers.
The Area Sales Manager leads and develops a team of Sales Representatives while driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across assigned on-premise and/or off-premise accounts. This role focuses on coaching employees, growing market share, executing sales strategies, and delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and drive performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Identify growth opportunities, manage key accounts, and execute sales and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory, pricing, displays, merchandising, and product placement.
- Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, and training sessions.
- Resolve customer concerns while ensuring excellent service.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and sales data to develop business strategies.
- Provide route coverage when needed and support special projects.
Off-Premise Focus
- Execute chain promotions, shelf resets, merchandising, and display compliance.
- Partner with space planning teams to optimize product placement.
On-Premise Focus
- Conduct staff trainings, coordinate tastings and events, and support promotional activities.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three or more years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage or CPG industry.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to obtain required liquor salesperson permits.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Regularly lift up to 40 pounds; occasionally up to 160 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent standing, reaching, bending, and driving throughout the workday.
