Registered Nurse-Pre Op in St Augustine, Florida at Symphony Spine and Pain

The PRN Pre-Operative/Post-Operative Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures in an ambulatory surgery center. This position assists with patient preparation, pre-operative assessments, post-anesthesia recovery, discharge education, and coordination of care while maintaining compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable nursing standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, patient-focused, and able to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.

-Current, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN)

-Previous experience in pre-operative, post-operative, PACU, ambulatory surgery, or acute care nursing preferred

-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

-Advanced life support certification, such as ACLS, required when applicable to the role and facility policy.
