Geneva College invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Department of Computer Science & Cybersecurity. The position begins Jan 1, 2027 and will remain open, until filled.

Summary of Responsibilities: A successful candidate will have qualifications and experience to teach a variety of undergraduate computer science courses which could include Survey of Computer Science, Intro and Object-Oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Algorithms and Data Structures, Networking, AI, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Mobile Applications, among others.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Candidate must possess the ability to respond quickly to a changing industry landscape and be able to adapt courses to accommodate the most recent developments.Candidate must be a team player who is committed to the cooperative success of the program.Candidate must engage in academic advising of majors within the computer science and cybersecurity department.Candidate must participate in student recruitment efforts.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous full-time successful higher education teaching experience preferred. Relevant industry experience preferred. Experience guiding individual student research opportunities. Academic or industry leadership experience.
