Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Sunday Church Support in Jasper, Indiana at Maweh Solutions LLC

Maweh Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide individualized support to an adult participant attending weekly Sunday church services.

This position is ideal for a caregiver who lives within or near the assigned service area, values consistency, respects individual faith practices, and enjoys helping individuals remain active and engaged in their communities.

The selected DSP will assist the participant with transportation to and from church and provide appropriate support during church-related activities based on the participant's individualized service plan.

• Provide dependable support every Sunday for scheduled church attendance.
• Assist with transportation to and from church, as authorized.
• Provide appropriate assistance before, during, and after church services.
• Promote independence, dignity, personal choice, and community participation.
• Maintain a respectful, patient, and supportive environment.
• Follow the participant's individualized care and safety plans.
• Maintain consistent communication with the participant and care coordination team.
• Complete required documentation and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must reside within or near the assigned service area.
• Must be consistently available every Sunday during the required hours.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate automobile insurance if transporting the participant.
• Must demonstrate patience, compassion, maturity, and professionalism.
• Must be comfortable accompanying and supporting a participant in a church environment.
• Must respect the participant's religious beliefs, preferences, and personal choices.
• Must successfully complete required background screenings and onboarding.
• Must complete required CPR/First Aid, HCSP, and other applicable training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting adults with disabilities.
• Experience providing community-based or participant-directed support.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a dependable work history.
