- Lead end-to-end project management for energy development and linear infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with environmental permitting requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and execute permitting strategies, including environmental compliance plans, permit applications, and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, environmental specialists, land acquisition, and regulatory experts to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory milestones.
- Oversee QA/QC of technical deliverables and provide mentorship to improve quality, consistency, and execution across project teams.
- Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and support permitting and approval processes.
- Track environmental commitments and ensure proper implementation of permit conditions during construction and project execution phases.
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting client relationships and identifying new project opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance on complex permitting challenges, particularly for energy and linear infrastructure projects on regulated or public lands.
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff in permitting processes, project management practices, and technical documentation.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting, project management, or energy infrastructure development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder energy or infrastructure projects with regulatory permitting requirements.
- Strong understanding of environmental compliance processes, including NEPA and related permitting frameworks.
- Experience working with public utilities, energy developers, or linear infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large, fast-paced project portfolios.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and coordinating permitting approvals across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risk while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Business development experience, including client engagement and relationship building, is a strong plus.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project site visits and client engagements.
- Competitive annual compensation ranging from $100,000 to $180,000, depending on experience and location.
