This role is focused on building and enhancing high-quality automation frameworks that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of enterprise-grade software solutions. You will play a key part in shaping testing strategies across the full software development lifecycle, working closely with engineering and product teams to embed quality at every stage. The position involves designing and executing robust automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. You will contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes while ensuring strong test coverage and release confidence for global customers. Operating in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment, you will support cross-functional teams working across international time zones. This is a hands-on technical role where your work directly impacts product stability and user experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression test suites to support application functionality
- Execute and manage multiple testing types including smoke, regression, integration, performance, and API testing to ensure software quality
- Identify, document, and track defects while providing detailed analysis of failures and root causes
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles
- Maintain automation repositories using GitHub and integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and refinement sessions to support accurate delivery timelines
- Monitor application quality using tools and platforms such as Datadog, LambdaTest, and other testing/observability tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices across teams
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely response to production issues when required
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong focus on test automation
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Ruby, or Gherkin
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Puppeteer, Postman, JMeter, or similar tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and services such as GitHub Actions and automated testing pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and support tools like Datadog, LambdaTest, SendGrid, or PagerDuty is a plus
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design principles, and quality control processes
- Experience with data-driven or security-focused testing is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
