Who are we looking for?

The Site Operations Leader is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and strategic direction of a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, deep manufacturing expertise, and the ability to develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced production environment.

What will you be doing?
  • Lead all day-to-day plant operations, including EHS, production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and logistics.
  • Drive operational excellence in a high-volume manufacturing environment, ensuring throughput, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and execute site-level strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans.
  • Optimize production processes, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure high standards of product quality and adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Lead capital investment planning, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership.
  • Drive accountability and performance through data-driven decision-making and robust reporting systems.
Who are You?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, including plant or site leadership experience
  • Proven success in managing high-volume production operations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and operational best practices
  • Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and capital planning
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

What competencies will you need?
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing analytics tools
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (depending on sector)
  • Track record of improving plant performance and scaling operations
  • Experience in Batch Chemical Manufacturing Environment

The typical base salary range for this position is between $128,636.00 and $192,954.00
