This field-based commercial role is focused on driving growth within acute care settings through the promotion of advanced wound care solutions. You will be responsible for developing strategic territory plans, building trusted relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and expanding product adoption across assigned accounts. The role combines clinical understanding with strong commercial execution in a competitive medical device environment. You will engage with multidisciplinary decision-makers to identify unmet needs and position tailored solutions that improve patient outcomes. Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will manage your territory like a business, balancing sales strategy, account development, and pipeline management. Success in this role requires curiosity, resilience, and the ability to influence complex buying groups in fast-paced clinical environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving territory growth and expanding market share within acute care accounts by executing structured sales strategies and building long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales targets across assigned accounts
- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
- Conduct product education and in-services to clinical teams and key decision-makers
- Build consensus across multiple stakeholders within complex healthcare organizations
- Analyze territory performance data to optimize account strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reporting, and administrative documentation
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to refine positioning and messaging
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strong account support and customer satisfaction
This position requires strong field sales experience in healthcare or B2B environments, with the ability to operate independently in a high-performance territory model.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and sales experience
- 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in medical or acute care environments
- Strong ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex healthcare systems
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen with ability to analyze data and develop account strategies
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic sales analytics (Excel, reporting, forecasting)
- Highly self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, and results-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel (including overnight travel, 10–25%) and valid driver’s license required
- Competitive base salary range: $146,000 – $166,000, with bonus eligibility
