Physician Assistant – Inpatient Surgical Oncology
Westchester Medical Center – Valhalla, NY
Schedule: 3 Day Shifts/week
Summary:
An exciting new Physician Assistant (PA) position has been developed to continue to deliver optimal care to the inpatient surgical oncology patients at Westchester Medical Center. The Department of Surgery, in partnership with the Center for Advanced Practice, is seeking to grow our collective team. In this strictly daytime, inpatient, surgical oncology position, the PA will work alongside experienced physician colleagues and surgical residents, managing diverse surgical patients.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant and possess, or be able to obtain, a New York State PA License.
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of surgical or academic medicine experience but highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Candidates must have BLS and ACLS
