Events & Field Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Events & Field Marketing Manager based in India.

This is a high-impact, regional marketing role focused on building and scaling field and event marketing programs across India and the broader APJ region. You will shape and execute integrated campaigns that drive brand visibility, developer engagement, and pipeline growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring ownership of both large-scale conferences and grassroots community initiatives. A key focus will be leading flagship developer events while localizing global programs for regional relevance. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Global Marketing teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence how developer communities engage with cutting-edge infrastructure technology and to build impactful, memorable event experiences.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and contribute to the regional events strategy and annual/quarterly planning for APJ, including budget allocation and calendar development aligned with global priorities and local market needs.
  • Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and operational management of flagship developer conferences, including large-scale events such as Replay India.
  • Design and execute integrated field marketing programs such as ABM campaigns, digital initiatives, workshops, meetups, and partner activations to drive awareness and pipeline growth.
  • Manage full event lifecycle execution including logistics, vendor coordination, sponsorships, travel, collateral, swag, and on-site delivery for events of all sizes.
  • Partner with Developer Relations to grow community engagement through grassroots initiatives, meetups, and advocate programs.
  • Localize global marketing programs to ensure cultural relevance, compliance, and strong regional impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams to support pipeline generation, acceleration, and pre/post-event engagement strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and report on program performance, budgets, and ROI, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation, ideally within B2B SaaS, developer tools, cloud, or infrastructure environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful regional marketing programs that drive brand awareness, engagement, and pipeline impact.
  • Strong experience managing events across scales, from community meetups to large conferences and sponsored industry events.
  • Hands-on expertise in event execution including vendor management, sponsorship coordination, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of India and APJ market dynamics, including cultural and regional nuances.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing and CRM tools such as Salesforce and Marketo is a plus.
  • Passion for developer communities, open-source ecosystems, and distributed systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities with high attention to detail.
