Cold Brew Maker - Production Assistant in Gert Town, Louisiana at French Truck Coffee

The Cold Brew Maker is a hands-on Production Assistant role within the Roastery. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physically active work and thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Cold Brew Makers are responsible for the entire cold brew production process, including grinding, brewing, bottling, and equipment maintenance. The role requires frequent lifting, moving heavy materials, and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility. We expect all Cold Brew Makers to have a strong understanding of our products and a commitment to quality and consistency.

Essential Job Functions

• Grind, brew, and bottle cold brew coffee according to company standards
• Frequently lift, move, and transport coffee, ingredients, and production materials throughout the facility
• Receive, unload, and properly store all roastery-related deliveries
• Organize and maintain cold brew refrigerators and storage areas
• Empty, clean, sanitize, and maintain cold brew tanks and production equipment daily
• Perform routine equipment upkeep and troubleshooting as needed
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
• Maintain the cleanliness of the roastery, parking lot, building perimeter, storm drains, and other exterior areas
• Assist with general production and warehouse tasks as needed

• Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar physically demanding environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a production setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
• Remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday
• Perform repetitive movements, including bending, reaching, squatting, twisting, and lifting
• Work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to varying temperatures and wet conditions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout an entire shift
• Mix of standard manufacturing and retail store environments
