Momentum Senior Living is a rapidly growing owner, operator, and manager of luxury Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. Our portfolio continues to expand through new developments, acquisitions, and management partnerships, creating exciting opportunities for experienced operational leaders.
Position SummaryThe Vice President of Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple senior living communities while partnering directly with the Chief Operating Officer.
This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, occupancy growth, regulatory compliance, financial performance, leadership development, and exceptional resident experiences throughout the portfolio.
Responsibilities- Provide operational leadership for multiple Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Executive Directors.
- Improve occupancy, quality census, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, labor management, and operating expenses.
- Lead operational reviews and community visits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain survey readiness and oversee corrective action plans.
- Support acquisitions, new community openings, and operational transitions.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to support occupancy growth.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Clinical Services, Finance, and Asset Management.
- Lead capital improvement and renovation initiatives.
- Promote a culture of hospitality, accountability, and operational excellence.

Requirements: QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 10+ years of progressive senior living operations experience.
- 5+ years of multi-site operational leadership.
- Assisted Living and Memory Care experience.
- Strong understanding of California regulations.
- Proven leadership of Executive Directors and regional teams.
- Strong financial and operational management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to travel 50–75%.
- Master's Degree (MBA, MHA, or related field)
- RCFE Administrator Certification
- Multi-state operational experience
- Luxury senior living experience
- Lease-up, acquisitions, or turnaround experience
