Job Description

Sr. Product Manager

About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of CarePath during a critical stage of growth. Working alongside engineering, commercial teams, and strategic partners, you will help take the product from initial launch and adoption into a scalable platform that unlocks new customer experiences, partner value, and revenue opportunities. You'll spend time understanding customer workflows, validating market opportunities, shaping product strategy, and ensuring the team delivers solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. This is a highly visible individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence across the organization.

About CarePath:

CarePath is building the infrastructure that connects veterinary clinics, pet owners, and industry partners through seamless point-of-sale integrations, personalized discounts, and data-driven engagement. Our platform integrates with 26+ Practice Management Information Systems (PIMS) to help thousands of veterinary clinics deliver better client experiences while enabling partners to drive measurable impact across the pet care ecosystem. We are at an exciting stage of growth—scaling a new product line, expanding clinic adoption, and building the technology and operating model to support the business's next phase. We are looking for builders who enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and creating solutions that directly impact veterinary practices and pet owners.

Apply if you're excited to:
  • Own and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for CarePath, balancing short-term adoption goals with long-term platform growth

  • Partner closely with strategic partners to align product investments with business objectives and maximize customer value

  • Define and prioritize product initiatives that drive adoption, engagement, retention, and future revenue opportunities

  • Translate business requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams

  • Manage execution across multiple teams and functions, coordinating sprint-level dependencies across Engineering, Data, UX, QA, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of customer and partner commitments

  • Drive the development of data visibility and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights for customers and partners

  • Champion intuitive user experiences that fit naturally into the fast-paced workflows of veterinary clinic teams

  • Use customer feedback, analytics, experimentation, and market insights to evaluate performance and inform roadmap decisions

Success by 6 Months:

  • Develop a deep understanding of CarePath's data model, customer journeys, partner integrations, and campaign architecture

  • Establish strong working relationships with Engineering, Data, Design, QA, Commercial teams, and strategic partners

  • Drive resolution and alignment on key program decisions, including communication timing anchors, suppression rules, dosage threshold logic, and journey eligibility criteria

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive campaign requirements framework documenting data dependencies, business rules, implementation complexity, and critical path requirements for current and future journeys

  • Successfully coordinate the delivery of critical engineering and data workstreams required to support upcoming partner and medication journey launches

About you:
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, fintech, commerce, marketing technology, or other data-rich software environments

  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling products or major feature sets from concept through customer adoption

  • Experience conducting customer discovery, gathering requirements, and translating insights into product strategy and execution

  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data models, with a proven ability to write detailed product requirements and work effectively with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and prioritization

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external customers or strategic partners

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where priorities evolve and speed matters

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in B2B2C software environments

  • Experience with payments, loyalty programs, customer engagement, marketing automation, healthcare technology, or transactional platforms

Benefits & Perks:
  • Medical coverage for employees and dependents (80-90% covered by employer)

  • Employer HSA contribution with HDHP

  • 401(k) match up to 3.5%

  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

  • Dental & Vision coverage available

  • Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

  • Short and Long Term Disability

  • Flexible Time Off & 12 Paid Annual Holidays

  • Paid Parental Leave

  • Pawternity Leave, Financial Pet Adoption Support & Subsidized Pet Insurance

  • $250 Annual Stipend for Learning and Development

We believe great work should be recognized and rewarded. Our compensation is grounded in industry data and designed to be competitive, transparent, and performance-driven. Rather than relying on automatic annual increases, we invest in the people making the biggest impact—creating meaningful opportunities for growth as you grow with us.

PetDesk combines the industry's most user-friendly client engagement tools with the highest-rated pet parent app to simplify your veterinary clinic’s operations while strengthening client relationships.

Our recruiting process is rooted in “Who: The A Method of Hiring” and consists of an average 2-week hiring timeline. This standardized interview process allows candidates to answer the same questions, experience the same process, and ensure a fair performance review from multiple perspectives.

Please, no external recruiters—candidate profiles submitted from external recruiting agencies will not be considered.
