About the Role:
The Sales Counselor plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by engaging with prospective clients and guiding them through the sales process with professionalism and expertise. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience using advanced sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with the specific products or services offered by the company.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
- Additional training or certification in sales or customer relationship management.
- Experience working in a CCRC/Life Plan Community.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential customers through various channels including in-person, phone, and digital communications to identify their needs and preferences.
- Present and explain product features, benefits, and pricing to customers in a clear and compelling manner.
- Develop customized sales proposals and negotiate terms to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions using CRM software.
- Collaborate with team members and management to share insights, improve sales strategies, and contribute to overall business objectives.
Skills:
The Sales Counselor utilizes strong communication skills daily to clearly articulate product benefits and build rapport with customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Active listening and empathy are essential to address customer concerns and tailor solutions effectively.
