Job Description
- Manage awesome teams during the full lifecycle of IT development projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes that helps millions of users worldwide.
- Act as the central point of communication for clients, internal management and project teams.
- Translate the clients requirements into actionable tasks for your team and influence the success of our company and of clients by meeting their expectations.
- Organize and lead your team to meet internal and external deadlines, including reporting, invoicing, and client updates.
- Proactively manage project risks by identifying, logging, and communicating them, while driving resolution strategies.
- Customize your team’s working approach to meet specific client needs, ensuring projects are handled with agility and efficiency.
- Build a positive team culture, celebrating milestones, and ensuring the team is motivated and aligned with project goals.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and contribute to broader business development goals.
- If you know the ins and outs of agile IT development in one or more business domains it’s a plus. If not, then we will teach you. It’s no rocket science - as long as you are smart and willing to learn.
- Chance to travel and visit the customers on-site.
- Having a university degree in the IT field or in a related area of Project Management.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Project Management within the IT Development industry. You know your stuff and understand how to deal with demanding clients; experience in consulting or a similar field is definitely valuable.
- Proficiency in English communication is a must-have requirement. German communication skill is a plus.
- Experience in cross-cultural communication with English speaking teams is essential. Additionally, familiarity with your Asian team is important; speaking Vietnamese or experience working with Vietnamese teams is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, including expertise in planning, monitoring, controlling, and adjusting workflows as required.
- A product mindset: You don’t just manage tasks; you understand the "why" behind the features.
- The ability to assess risks effectively and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and business environments.
- A proactive, growth-oriented perspective, always seeking new learning opportunities and ways to improve processes.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of working well within teams and taking the initiative when workload permits, assisting other teams or contributing to internal projects.
- Hands-on technical experience or a strong understanding of software development processes is a plus.
