Warehouse Clerk Lead in Mount Sterling, Illinois at Dot Foods

As a Warehouse Clerk Lead, you will provide leadership in the clerk offices through training, monitoring, scheduling, and evaluating clerks on their shift. Actively leads the overall workflow within all clerk offices.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Coordinates dock flow for all outbound and inbound loads
  
• Train assigned personnel to efficiently flow trailers in the process of receiving, storing, and shipping product
• Communicate work expectations and results achieved to assigned personnel
• Monitor warehouse activity through observation and use of warehouse systems
• Serve as a coach and mentor to personnel
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma,General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Bachelors Degree
  
• Experience with warehouse computer systems
• Ability to accept changing work demands

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Schedule: Thursday- Saturday and every other Wednesday Hours: 6:00am 6:00pm
• Team-based environment
