Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Learning and Organizational Development Specialist supports the administration of the Education and Development team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required
- 2 Years customer service, symposium coordination, or education experience preferred, not required.
- Exceptional Customer Service.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Possess analytical, instructional, interpersonal and speaking skills.
- Collaborates with all customers across the system.
- High level ability to manage confidential information.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Coordinates live/virtual education/symposium offerings supported by the education team.
- Including (not limited to) coordinating with speakers, vendors, catering, outside attendance, contact hour support, and attendance of event.
- Coordinates New Leader Orientation course and leadership development.
- Assists in coordinating education reporting.
- Assist educators with Learning Management System (Relias).
- Interprets and supports education policies, procedures, standards, or regulations.
- Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, setting up systems and equipment, coordinating data analytics/reporting.
- Assists in coordinating Aulttendence course attendance program.
- Coordinates, assists with planning, and supports organization and entity symposium and live education offerings.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement along with necessary supervision.
- Pursue continued development in areas of expertise. Support the department with the ability to support additional programs or efforts when necessary.
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.
- Greets education customers in a courteous manner and responds with positive intent in a timely manner.
- Answers all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner. Returns all outstanding questions, concerns etc.…within 24 hours.
- Data entry as related to department programs and responsibilities.
- Assists with other projects, performs other education duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- 8:00am – 4:30pm M-F or hours as required by the job. Occasional weekends and off -shifts
- Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
