- Build and manage email campaigns using HubSpot or comparable marketing automation platforms, as well as push notification campaigns through first-party tools.
- Develop and improve the data, audience segmentation, automation, and dynamic-content capabilities that power moderator communications.
- Design and execute controlled experiments using treatment and control groups, analyze results, and translate findings into iterative testing and optimization plans.
- Partner with lifecycle strategists to translate audience strategies, value propositions, messaging, and community-growth objectives into effective multichannel campaigns.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to improve existing marketing capabilities and develop new ways to engage moderators.
- Monitor campaign performance, engagement trends, and email health metrics while identifying and resolving technical or operational issues.
- Establish scalable processes, campaign standards, documentation, and technical practices that support the growth of community lifecycle programs.
- Use data and performance insights to identify opportunities to improve moderator engagement, retention, reactivation, and overall community health.
- Maintain high-quality campaign operations and ensure communications are delivered accurately, consistently, and at scale.
- 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, growth marketing, marketing technology, or a related discipline, with significant hands-on campaign execution experience.
- Proven experience building and managing multichannel lifecycle programs for B2C or B2B2C audiences.
- Hands-on experience creating, launching, testing, and optimizing campaigns in HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform.
- Strong understanding of marketing data infrastructure, segmentation, automation, and campaign analytics, with the ability to read and write basic SQL.
- Experience designing A/B tests or controlled experiments and using performance data to drive campaign decisions and continuous improvement.
- Experience collaborating effectively with Product, Engineering, Data Science, or other technical and cross-functional teams.
- Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear and effective user communications.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to create structure, solve technical and operational problems, and build new programs from zero to one.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, particularly when working with campaign data, audience segmentation, and technical systems.
- Genuine interest in online communities and a community-first mindset, with an appreciation for the role moderators play in creating healthy and engaged communities.
