Job Description

Senior Deployment Strategist, Private Sector

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Deployment Strategist, Private Sector based in the United States.

This is a senior customer success opportunity focused on helping leading crypto businesses, financial institutions, and fintechs achieve measurable outcomes through blockchain intelligence solutions.
You’ll own a portfolio of strategic private-sector accounts across North America, acting as a trusted advisor to senior compliance and investigations leaders.
The role combines strategic account management, financial crime expertise, customer retention, and expansion in a high-growth technology environment.
You’ll use AI as a force multiplier to accelerate account planning, customer-health analysis, executive communications, and repeatable workflows.
You’ll translate complex investigative and technical concepts into clear business value while serving as a key voice of the customer.
Working in a distributed, async-first organization, you’ll have significant autonomy and collaborate closely across Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Sales.
This is an opportunity to shape scalable deployment practices while helping customers address real-world financial crime and compliance challenges.

Accountabilities
  • Own the success of a portfolio of strategic North American private-sector accounts, establishing customer-specific objectives and translating them into actionable 30/60/90-day success plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, including compliance, investigations, and economic buyers.
  • Protect and grow recurring revenue by identifying churn risks early, developing mitigation strategies, and validating expansion opportunities in partnership with Account Directors.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate customer-call analysis, account planning, executive briefing preparation, follow-ups, and customer-health monitoring while applying sound judgment to validate outputs.
  • Prepare and lead customer business reviews, executive briefings, and strategic conversations that demonstrate measurable product value.
  • Monitor account health, customer usage, and engagement signals to identify emerging risks and opportunities and take proactive action.
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer by synthesizing feedback from customer calls, tickets, and interactions into structured insights for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Develop reusable AI prompts, templates, and workflows that improve efficiency and can be adopted across the broader Deployment Strategy organization.
  • Partner with Security, Product, Engineering, Sales, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues, coordinate responses, and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Contribute to scalable private-sector deployment playbooks, processes, and best practices that strengthen retention, adoption, and expansion across the customer base.
  • Participate in an async-first operating rhythm that includes weekly customer meetings, bi-weekly health reviews, pod calls, and regular QBRs.
  • Provide occasional off-hours monitoring for critical P0/P1 customer issues and travel periodically for customer meetings, trainings, QBRs, or industry events.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience within crypto businesses, financial institutions, or fintech organizations, particularly in compliance, investigations, financial crime, or customer-facing functions.
  • Hands-on experience with financial crime, AML, sanctions, investigations, or related areas, with the ability to understand and discuss complex investigative use cases.
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and driving customer retention, adoption, and expansion.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as Claude to accelerate research, analysis, drafting, and account planning while knowing when to verify AI-generated outputs.
  • Experience creating reusable AI-assisted workflows, templates, prompts, or processes that improve team efficiency and scale individual expertise.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate complex investigative, compliance, or technology topics for audiences ranging from analysts to senior executives.
  • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the judgment to focus on the initiatives that matter most.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in high-touch customer and executive-facing environments.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a distributed, fast-moving organization with changing priorities and a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Highly accountable, adaptable, collaborative, and motivated by measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Willingness to work core hours overlapping with North American business hours and accommodate occasional customer-related travel.
Benefits
  • Competitive US base salary of $127,000–$145,000, with compensation determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Eligibility to participate in an equity plan.
  • Fully remote, distributed-first work environment.
  • Async-first collaboration with core overlap during North American business hours.
  • High-autonomy environment with significant ownership and opportunities to shape new processes and playbooks.
  • Opportunity to work on complex problems at the intersection of AI, financial crime, blockchain intelligence, and security.
  • Exposure to senior decision-makers across crypto, fintech, and financial services.
  • Opportunities to contribute to product strategy and influence the roadmap through customer insights.
  • Occasional travel opportunities for customer meetings, QBRs, trainings, and industry events across North America.
  • Access to a fast-paced environment designed for continuous learning, experimentation, and professional growth.
