Project Manager Ambulatory Virtual-PRN

Position Highlights
The Project Manager Ambulatory Virtual PRN leads and manages the delivery of a Salesforce CRM Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The PM ensures projects and project deliverables are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality standards. The PM works closely with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to provide appropriate project guidance.
This role bridges business stakeholders and IT, translating operational needs into actionable Salesforce requirements while building a clear, resource-aligned project plan. The engagement is temporary (3-6 months) with variable weekly hours based on project phase and demand.
Key Responsibilities
Product Leadership & Delivery
. Lead end-to-end delivery of a Salesforce CRM MVP from discovery through launch
. Develop and manage a phased project timeline, including milestones, dependencies, integrations, and resource needs
. Coordinate across business leaders, IT/Salesforce teams, and external partners as applicable
. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements
. Facilitate stakeholder interviews/workshops to gather and prioritize requirements across business units (e.g. community, employer, provider relationships)
. Translate business needs into clear, structured user stories, process flows, and functional requirements for Salesforce configuration/build
. Align stakeholders on scope for MVP vs. future phases.
Salesforce Collaboration
. Work closely with the internal Salesforce/ITS team to refine requirements, backlog, and sprint plans
. Speak the "Salesforce language" (objects, fields, workflows, reporting, integrations) to ensure efficient handoffs and minimal rework
. Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
Integration & Resource Planning
. Identify required integrations (e.g., marketing tools, referral sources, reporting systems) and coordinate dependencies
. Define resource plan (internal/external, roles, and time allocations aligned to timeline.
Deliverables & Handoff
. Deliver a functional Salesforce CRM MVP aligned to agreed scope
. Produce a documented backlog and roadmap for future phases (post-MVP enhancements)
. Recommend a sustainable support/operating model for CRM (governance, roles, intake, prioritization, reporting cadence)
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, clinical field, business, or related field required. 4 years related experience in lieu of a degree required
Experience
5+ years of project management experience, progressive leadership experience or experience leading high level projects and initiatives required.

Hands-on experience leading Salesforce CRM implementations or enhancements
Strong business analysis skills; requirements gathering, user stories, process mapping
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business executives
Experience building project plans with timelines, dependencies, and resource estimates
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment
Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable in a contract/variable-hours environment
Travel Requirements
Local 5% Occasional travel to entities and Arlington office as required
