Siewert Equipment, a division of Cummins-Wagner, is seeking a Field Service Mechanic. Cummins-Wagner Company, Inc. is a leader in the distribution of industrial and mechanical equipment. The Service & Repair Mechanic performs hands-on technical services for a wide variety of pumps, controls, and other types of rotating equipment. This position requires a motivated professional with a high degree of technical aptitude to provide both in-shop and field service to support Industrial and Municipal customers throughout upstate NY. Essential characteristics include good communication skills, customer service skills, teamwork, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and flexibility for reasonable travel.

• Repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumps, blowers, motors, and controls
• Equipment start-up commissioning and training
• Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation for assigned work
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and suppliers
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean & resourceful work environment to include the shop, individual work areas, and service vehicle
• Understand and adhere to all safety-related policies, rules, and guidelines
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service
• Frequent day travel throughout upstate NY with some overnight travel required
• Perform all other duties as assigned
