Senior Demand Planner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Demand Planner based in the United States.

This role sits at the core of end-to-end demand and supply planning for device programs, ensuring accurate forecasting, efficient procurement planning, and strong alignment between operational and financial goals. You will play a key role in building reliable forecasts that support device lifecycle management, repair and remanufacturing flows, and inventory optimization. The position requires close collaboration with actuarial, finance, operations, and technology teams in a highly data-driven environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining planning systems, improving data integrity, and enhancing forecasting methodologies. This is a high-impact role where your insights directly influence supply chain performance, cost efficiency, and service delivery outcomes. The environment is fast-paced, cross-functional, and focused on continuous improvement. It is well-suited for a senior planner who thrives on combining analytical rigor with operational execution.

Accountabilities:

Own and develop end-to-end demand and supply planning processes for device programs, ensuring forecast accuracy, operational alignment, and data integrity through the following responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain demand, supply, procurement, and inventory forecasts across multiple client programs
  • Partner with actuarial and finance teams to refine claims assumptions and improve forecasting accuracy
  • Develop repair and remanufacturing forecasts to support device lifecycle and service operations
  • Contribute to financial reforecasting activities, including variance analysis and device mix updates
  • Manage planning datasets including inventory, pipeline, lifecycle, and migration matrices
  • Produce reporting on inventory levels, open purchase orders, and planning performance metrics
  • Identify supply chain impacts and communicate insights to key financial and operational stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement of planning tools and systems
  • Support system enhancements, integrations, migrations, and process automation initiatives
  • Establish documentation standards, controls, audit frameworks, and escalation processes
  • Monitor planning workflows and implement efficiency improvements across teams and systems
  • Support client-specific forecasting and procurement planning requirements
  • Develop training materials and drive adoption of planning tools across stakeholders
  • Ensure business continuity, compliance, and operational reliability of planning processes
Requirements:

This role requires deep supply chain planning expertise, strong technical capabilities, and the ability to operate in a complex, cross-functional environment:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or operations roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, including data modeling and analysis
  • Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand planning, and inventory management
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume, and matrixed environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Experience with planning systems and data-driven decision-making processes
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
  • Exposure to supply chain certifications such as CPIM (a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
