About the role

The Senior Director of HCP Marketing & Market Development will be a key commercial leader responsible for accelerating physician adoption, account growth, professional education, and utilization of the Vivistim® System. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this individual will shape and execute the commercial marketing strategy that drives market expansion and supports the continued growth of Mobia Medical's innovative stroke recovery therapy.

This highly visible leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can translate customer insights, clinical evidence, and market dynamics into programs that deliver measurable business results. The successful candidate will partner closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Clinical, and Executive Leadership while leading a team focused on product marketing, market development, physician engagement, and professional education. As Mobia Medical continues to scale, this leader will play a critical role in strengthening market leadership, expanding adoption, and helping more stroke survivors gain access to life-changing therapy.

What you'll do

  • Lead downstream product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, commercialization, and market adoption initiatives for the Vivistim® platform.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive physician adoption, account activation, utilization, and commercial growth.
  • Translate clinical evidence, customer insights, and market intelligence into impactful marketing programs and customer-facing materials.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Clinical, Medical Affairs, R&D, Market Access, and Executive Leadership teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead commercialization planning for product launches, clinical milestones, publications, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Oversee Market Development and Professional Education programs designed to increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of Vivistim therapy.
  • Direct physician education programs, peer-to-peer initiatives, conference strategy, consultant engagement, and field marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical stakeholders to support evidence-based adoption and strengthen market leadership.
  • Develop sales enablement tools, messaging, and resources that improve customer engagement and field effectiveness.
  • Partner with Commercial Leadership and Commercial Operations to align marketing programs with sales execution and growth objectives.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, utilization, and return on investment.
  • Analyze market and business performance to identify growth opportunities and optimize commercial execution.
  • Present strategic recommendations and business insights to Executive Leadership.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing organization focused on commercial impact, execution excellence, and talent development.
  • Manage budgets, agencies, consultants, and external partners to maximize efficiency and business results.
  • Serve as a strategic leader helping shape long-range commercial planning and future growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven success developing and executing commercial marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Experience partnering closely with field sales organizations to improve commercial performance.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and business acumen.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring return on investment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational alignment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in neuromodulation, neurorehabilitation, stroke care, or medical technology.
  • Experience supporting product commercialization and market development initiatives.
  • Proven success building physician adoption and utilization programs.
  • Experience working within a high-growth or emerging medical technology company.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional commercial initiatives.
