Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Core

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Core based in Spain.

This is an opportunity to shape a core product experience that helps short-term rental owners and property managers automate operations and reclaim valuable time. You will own strategic product initiatives, drive business outcomes, and translate customer needs into intuitive, high-impact software solutions. Working across engineering, sales, customer support, and leadership, you will define product direction and turn ambitious ideas into rapidly delivered improvements. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, giving you ownership of complex projects and significant business priorities. You will use customer insights, data, and experimentation to simplify workflows, improve product adoption, and identify new opportunities for growth. Within a fully remote and internationally distributed environment, you will have the autonomy to make decisions, manage priorities, and deliver measurable results. This position is ideal for a proactive product leader who thrives on ownership, embraces uncertainty, and is motivated by building products that make everyday work easier.

Accountabilities
  • Product vision and strategy: Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the goal of simplifying short-term rental management.
  • Business ownership and outcomes: Own results across significant business lines, taking responsibility for product performance, customer value, and measurable commercial impact.
  • Customer research and discovery: Gather, analyze, and synthesize customer feedback, stakeholder input, and product insights to identify unmet needs and translate them into clear product requirements.
  • Roadmap planning and prioritization: Collaborate with senior leadership to establish product plans and roadmaps, balancing customer needs, business priorities, engineering effort, and delivery timelines.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, sales, and customer support teams to develop and launch features that address the right problems and deliver meaningful improvements.
  • End-to-end product delivery: Break strategic initiatives into manageable, rapidly shippable projects, establish priorities and dependencies, and maintain a consistent cadence of product releases.
  • Launch and execution management: Coordinate feature launches, monitor progress against milestones, anticipate delivery risks, and help ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Product analytics and performance measurement: Identify appropriate metrics and tracking methods to evaluate product usage, customer outcomes, adoption, and business impact.
  • Innovation and product expansion: Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing capabilities, expand the product offering, and explore new solutions that strengthen the overall product vision.
  • Continuous improvement: Use performance data, customer feedback, and cross-functional insights to refine product decisions and continuously improve the customer experience.
Requirements

Essential qualifications and experience

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, real estate technology, hospitality software, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience owning products and features end to end, including taking initiatives from concept to launch and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to articulate customer problems, product requirements, and strategic decisions with clarity and precision.
  • Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing demands, technical constraints, business objectives, and customer expectations.
  • Proven project management capabilities, including structuring complex initiatives into workstreams, dependencies, milestones, and actionable priorities using appropriate project management tools.
  • A strong delivery mindset, with a demonstrated ability to move projects forward, maintain a consistent release cadence, and make pragmatic trade-offs.
  • High levels of customer empathy and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues across different teams and disciplines.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and persistent approach, with the ability to take ownership and maintain momentum without requiring close supervision.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and navigating complex projects independently.
  • The ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strategic focus and ensuring consistent execution.

Preferred working arrangement

  • Candidates based in Germany are welcome to apply, with flexibility for other locations compatible with the role's operating hours.
  • Availability to collaborate effectively across European or US Eastern time zones is preferred.
  • Experience working in fully remote, distributed teams is advantageous.

Candidates do not need to meet every listed qualification to apply. Demonstrated strengths, relevant achievements, and a compelling explanation of how their experience aligns with the role are also valued.

Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation: A total budget ranging from approximately US$170,000 to US$207,546.90, adjusted according to the cost of living in the candidate's location and applicable employment arrangements.
  • Flexible international hiring: Opportunities to join as an employee or independent contractor, depending on location and eligibility. Employee compensation is adjusted for applicable payroll taxes and local employment arrangements.
  • US employee compensation: Gross compensation ranging from approximately US$156,746.97 to US$191,366.75 for employees based in the United States.

These awards do not vest over time, and their value is tied directly to measurable business outcomes.
  • Healthcare and retirement benefits: US employees have access to healthcare plans, including EPO, PPO, and HSA options, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Generous time off: 35 days off per year, including self-managed public holidays, with an emphasis on taking time to rest and recharge.
  • Parental leave: Access to parental leave to support employees and their families.
  • Mental health and emotional support: Complimentary access to therapists and emotional support through Slack.
  • Peer recognition and rewards: A virtual recognition platform where colleagues can earn coins and redeem them for gift cards, charitable donations, or monetary rewards.
  • Remote-first culture: A fully distributed working environment built around autonomy, trust, transparency, collaboration, and measurable results.
  • Meaningful product ownership: The opportunity to influence product strategy, lead high-impact initiatives, and contribute directly to customer satisfaction and business growth.
