Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Follow all company safety policies, client requirements, and safe work practices.
Assist with the installation of structured cabling and other assigned project tasks.
Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Learn to read blueprints, floor plans, and other project documents.
Gain knowledge of installation methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
Ask questions and seek guidance to ensure work is completed correctly.
Follow all customer security and site access requirements.
Maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and positive working relationship with customers and coworkers.
Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, and materials.
Perform other duties as assigned by the project Foreman, Superintendent, or Management.
Education & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working in Telecom related industry/construction
Read, write and understand English
Display professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
must be able to distinguish between different colors, possess manual dexterity to complete fine motor tasks, stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, and lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365 applications.
Ability to solve problems, be resourceful and proactive.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The physical demands and work environment described below represent those an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
Lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance when necessary.
Safely use ladders, step stools, scaffolding, and lifts while working at varying heights.
Perform repetitive hand movements requiring manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction sites and occupied facilities.
• Regularly work in changing weather conditions, confined spaces, elevated work areas, and areas with dust, dirt, noise, and vibration.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and other equipment as required.
Maintain the ability to distinguish colors when identifying telecommunications cables, wiring, and related components.
Ability to travel to customer locations and project sites as required.
Work Environment-

Customer facilities
Indoor and outdoor environments
Exposure to changing weather conditions
Dust, noise, vibration, and moving equipment
Travel between job sites

Full-Time
