Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM (Overnight)

Position SummaryThe Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care, supervision, and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. DSPs play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, personal growth, and community inclusion while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of those they support.
No prior experience is required. Comprehensive paid training is provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and personal care.
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed.
- Support the development of daily living and independent living skills.
- Accompany individuals to appointments, community activities, and social events.
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Implement individualized support plans and service goals.
- Document services and report significant observations as required.
- Promote person-centered care, dignity, choice, and respect.
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals receiving services.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to successfully complete:
- State and federal criminal background checks
- Drug screening
- Pre-employment physical and PPD screening
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, healthcare, human services, or a related field.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Additional education in healthcare, psychology, social work, education, nursing, or a related field.
