At Paychex Test Client, we are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel and departments.
Greet and welcome visitors with a positive and professional demeanor.
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
Manage the scheduling of appointments and meeting rooms.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
Provide general information and assistance to visitors and callers.
Coordinate with facility management for any office maintenance or repair needs.
Ensure compliance with security protocols when registering visitors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a related role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and may involve light physical duties.
