Vox Kitchen, part of Kei Concepts a growing hospitality group, is coming to Aliso Viejo this July, and we are looking for high-energy Assistant Managers to join our founding leadership team! We are a hospitality-forward group that believes in great food, great vibes, and even better people. We are hiring now to begin training our management team so we are ready to hit the ground running for our grand opening. Position Summary

The Assistant Manager (AM) will play a vital role in the successful launch of Vox Kitchen Aliso Viejo. Your initial focus will be on learning our brand standards and assisting in the training of our new hourly team. Once open, you will lead daily shifts, drive operational goals, and provide the hands-on coaching necessary to maintain our high standards of hospitality and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Launch Support: Participate in pre-opening training and assist in the onboarding of the hourly Front of House team.
• Shift Leadership: Direct daily operations to ensure every guest receives the "Vox experience" from the moment they walk in.
• Team Coaching: Provide real-time feedback and training to hourly staff to improve service speed and quality.
• Labor Management: Support operational goals by managing floor cuts and labor efficiency during shifts.
• Guest Service Recovery: Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure repeat business.
• Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and food handling protocols.
• Operational Execution: Support the AGM and GM in maintaining inventory, cash handling, and facilities standards.
• Performance Support: Help foster an inclusive, high-energy environment where team members can thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Exposure: Experience in high-volume, fast-paced operations is highly preferred.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a "lead-by-example" management style.
• Flexibility: Must be available for training now and have open availability for our June opening (including nights and weekends).
• Passion: A genuine love for hospitality and a desire to grow within a successful restaurant group.

• Salary: $74,000–$78,000 annually
