Claim Recovery Specialist in Flemington, New Jersey at Hunterdon Health Care System

Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and review of denied claims to recapture revenue. Ensures that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services prior to date of service and/or billing.

1. Research and recovery of denied insurance claims.
2. Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits.
3. Secures precertification, preauthorization, and referrals.
4. Researches, communicates and collects copay/coinsurance obligations.
5. Completes Insurance Notifications.
