This role is centered on delivering high-quality client support within a clinical research environment, ensuring smooth interactions between clients and internal teams throughout the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, helping them navigate onboarding, submissions, system usage, and ongoing support needs. The position requires a strong focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and relationship-building to enhance overall client satisfaction and retention. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes, and support continuous service enhancements. Acting as both a client advocate and subject matter resource, you will help ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to IRB best practices. This is a remote opportunity suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in structured, mission-driven environments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for IRB clients, providing timely, accurate, and high-quality support throughout the client lifecycle.
- Support onboarding, training, and system demonstrations to ensure effective use of IRB platforms and processes.
- Apply working knowledge of IRB requirements, including submission standards and regulatory guidance, to assist clients effectively.
- Document, track, and analyze client interactions and feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues, escalate concerns when needed, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in process improvement discussions and contribute ideas to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
- Support project work and additional assignments related to client experience and service delivery optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Science, or related field, or equivalent experience with relevant industry background.
- 2+ years of experience in IRB, clinical research, healthcare, or a related regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of IRB processes, FDA and OHRP regulations, and informed consent standards preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and relationship management.
- Ability to evaluate situations, apply sound judgment, and escalate appropriately when needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or client management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with teams.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $66,974, depending on experience and location.
