About Lake Wildwood Association
Lake Wildwood is an active, gated community located about one hour northeast of Sacramento in the Historic Gold Rush Foothills of Nevada County.
Job Summary: A Banquet Bartender contributes to the success of The Events and Catering Department by preparing beverages and/or serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests during banquet/ catering functions. Other responsibilities of this position include set up of banquet bar including all liquor, mixes, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies; inventory unused liquor and beverages and assisting in banquet service and breakdown as needed. Only full bar experienced bartenders will be interviewed.
Pay Range: $16.90 - $18.00 + Tips

Job Requirements:
a. Upholds professional food and beverage image including cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standards.
b. Able to travel to different locations within the Association for events.
Essential Duties AND Responsibilities include the following:
c. Work in a team environment to provide a level of hospitality and service that exceeds guest expectations.
d. Exhibit a high level of professionalism, hospitality and confidence when making contact with guests.
e. Communicate with Banquet Lead Captain and Events Manager to guarantee a successful function, including resolution of guest complaints.
f. Maintain a positive, professional and respectful attitude toward guests, coworkers and management.
g. Follow outlined procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of banquet inventory and equipment, (2) replenish supplies and communicate inventory in a timely and efficient manner, and (3) minimize misuse and breakage of china, glassware, linen and supplies and to ensure that no re-usable goods are wasted.
h. Efficiently serve wine, bottled or draft beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with proper garnishes.
i. The Banquet Server serves guests’ needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items and information regarding preparation methods.
j. Knowledgeable about beverages served, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods.
k. Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
l. Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
m. Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures.
n. Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
o. Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
p. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
q. Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, as needed.
r. All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
a. Must have experience in bartending and serving.
b. Ability to multi-task and balance/prioritize work.
c. Experience using POS systems.
d. Knowledgeable in health and sanitation guidelines
e. Excellent Communication skills
f. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and communicate with all levels of management.
g. Passionate about engaging and creating personal connections with our community members.
Certificates/Licenses:
a. Valid Identification.
b. RBS Server Certification – Required within 30 days.
c. California food handlers Certification within 30 days.
d. High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Training Required within 30 Days:
a. Sexual Harassment Training
Language/Communication: Ability to read, write and speak English is required.
