This role focuses on transforming complex technical and operational content into engaging, structured, and learner-friendly instructional materials. You will play a key part in shaping high-quality learning experiences across multiple formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and multimedia content. Working in a fast-paced learning and development environment, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure training solutions align with business and instructional goals. The position requires strong instructional design expertise combined with advanced visual and technical content development skills. You will help modernize existing training assets while ensuring consistency, clarity, and accessibility across all deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and updating instructional materials that support organizational learning objectives. You will convert existing content into modern, engaging learning formats while ensuring instructional effectiveness and visual quality.
- Design and develop instructional content including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, virtual training, videos, and job aids
- Transform complex or legacy training materials into clear, learner-focused instructional experiences
- Apply instructional design, technical writing, and visual communication best practices to learning assets
- Ensure consistency by working within established templates, style guides, and design standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to align content with learning goals and requirements
- Support continuous improvement of training materials through updates, enhancements, and optimization of existing content
The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design experience combined with technical content development and visual design skills. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams in a structured environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
- 5+ years of instructional design experience in corporate or learning environments
- Strong experience in technical writing, course development, and content conversion
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia-based learning design
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including templates, slide masters, and formatting standards
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data handling and formatting tasks
- Familiarity with tools such as Lectora Inspire, Camtasia, Adobe Connect, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred
- Understanding of accessibility standards such as Section 508 is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs under deadlines
