Armed Security / Houseman- Summer Contract in Southampton, New York at The Calendar Group

Our client is seeking a highly experienced, professional, and service-oriented Armed Security / Houseman for a temporary summer contract based in the Hamptons. This is a hands-on role supporting a private family and estate throughout the summer season, requiring flexibility, discretion, and a proactive mindset.

The ideal candidate has a strong security background, and is equally comfortable providing personal protection, assisting with household operations, handling errands, and supporting the family’s day-to-day needs. This position requires someone who can seamlessly integrate into an established household team while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.

• Provide personal and property security for the family and residence throughout the summer season
• Monitor and maintain a secure household environment at all times
• Perform hands-on household support and light handyman tasks as needed
• Run errands and assist with day-to-day family logistics
• Support the family and household staff with general operational needs
• Collaborate closely with an established household team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Drive principals and family members as needed
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and situational awareness at all times

• Valid armed security credentials and license to carry
• Prior experience working in private households, executive protection, or estate security preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible schedule with availability for weekends, holidays, and changing household needs
• Service-minded attitude with willingness to assist beyond traditional security responsibilities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional, discreet, and dependable demeanor
