Butler (Luxury 5-star Hotel) Job Description
We are partnering with a prestigious luxury hospitality group to recruit professional and service-oriented Butlers to join a high-standard hotel operation.
This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering refined service, understand 5-star standards, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the single point of contact for suite guests, providing a seamless "curb-to-suite" experience including private check-in, packing/unpacking services, and personalized orientations.
Maintain the guests wardrobe to impeccable standards, including professional shoe polishing, garment pressing, and the delicate handling of high-end couture fabrics.
Orchestrate private in-suite dining, from setting a formal table to serving multi-course meals and preparing specialized beverages (coffee, tea, or cocktails) with silver-service precision.
Curate a "Guest History Profile" by observing and recording minute details, from pillow firmness and room temperature to preferred brands of mineral water or specific floral scents.
Manage the guest's daily schedule, including booking private jets, coordinating spa appointments, and handling all secretarial needs with absolute discretion.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure the suite remains in "opening day" condition, performing subtle "touch-up" cleanings while the guest is out.
Prepare specialized bath menus and wellness rituals, ensuring the bathroom is a sanctuary of relaxation tailored to the guests arrival time.
Act as a gatekeeper for high-profile guests, managing visitors and phone calls with the highest level of confidentiality and professional etiquette.
Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Butler or in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or ultra-luxury resort.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are an advantage.
Ability to operate advanced in-room technology and proficiency in Property Management Systems.
A masterful "social radar", the ability to be present but unobtrusive, knowing exactly when to engage and when to withdraw.
Impeccable grooming, elegant posture, and a calm, polished demeanor that aligns with the "private club" atmosphere of the lounge.
Ability to work long, irregular hours to match the guests schedule while maintaining sharp attention to detail and a calm demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, welcoming presence.
A proven track record of absolute discretion and confidentiality; must be comfortable working around high-profile, high-net-worth individuals.
Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
