This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Engineer, Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud in India.
This role is a senior technical position focused on designing, developing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments. You will play a key role in building enterprise-grade CRM capabilities that enhance customer engagement, service efficiency, and business process automation. The position involves hands-on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and modern Salesforce architecture patterns. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. The environment is dynamic and agile, with strong emphasis on quality, scalability, and best practices. You will also contribute to integration design, DevOps processes, and production support in large-scale enterprise systems. This role offers significant technical ownership and the opportunity to influence end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules.
- Build custom applications using Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch, Scheduled Apex) and Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components.
- Implement and optimize Salesforce automation using Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Assignment Rules, and Email Alerts.
- Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, External Services, and middleware platforms.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce data models, relationships, security architecture, and access controls.
- Participate in full SDLC including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, governor limits, performance optimization, and scalability standards.
- Support DevOps and deployment processes using tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Troubleshoot production issues, support UAT, and contribute to continuous improvement and system stability.
- 6+ years of total experience with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce core platform (SFDC).
- Strong development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
- Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud features such as Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Forecasting, and Activities.
- Strong expertise in Service Cloud including Case Management, Service Console, Queues, Entitlements, and Omni-Channel.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, sharing rules, and role hierarchy.
- Experience with Salesforce automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like Copado, Git, or Jenkins.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex production issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant are preferred.
- Exposure to Experience Cloud, CTI integrations, Omni-Channel, or Einstein features is an added advantage.
