Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have previous Nissan experience and a strong understanding of Nissan vehicles, systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and providing excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Nissan and other vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and engine repairs
- Perform oil changes, tire services, fluid services, and other preventative maintenance
- Complete manufacturer-recommended services and repairs according to specifications
- Accurately document all work performed and parts used on repair orders
- Follow Nissan repair procedures, technical bulletins, and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommended repairs
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Perform road tests and quality-control inspections as needed
- Stay current on automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and manufacturer training
- Previous professional automotive technician experience required
- Nissan dealership or Nissan-specific experience strongly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair automotive systems
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- ASE certifications and/or Nissan certifications preferred
