Job Description

Description: Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have previous Nissan experience and a strong understanding of Nissan vehicles, systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Nissan and other vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment
  • Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and engine repairs
  • Perform oil changes, tire services, fluid services, and other preventative maintenance
  • Complete manufacturer-recommended services and repairs according to specifications
  • Accurately document all work performed and parts used on repair orders
  • Follow Nissan repair procedures, technical bulletins, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommended repairs
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Perform road tests and quality-control inspections as needed
  • Stay current on automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and manufacturer training
Requirements:
  • Previous professional automotive technician experience required
  • Nissan dealership or Nissan-specific experience strongly preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and repair automotive systems
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • ASE certifications and/or Nissan certifications preferred
