What You’ll Do:
Program and operate a maximum of three Bruderer machines, for the purpose of appropriately cutting and pressing the fins/turbulators as specified in the work order instructions.
· Read and understand detailed work order instructions in manufacturing environment.
· Use a chain hoist to load the aluminum raw material onto the machine.
· Adjust the settings on the machine based on the work order instructions.
· Program and simultaneously operate a maximum of three machines.
· Inspect the quality of the produced fins/turbulators on a continual basis.
· Document and label the fins/turbulators after they have been produced.
· Sort and store completed fins/turbulators, package if indicated on work order instructions.
· Meet the production quotas that were received from the Lead or Supervisor.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Perform preventative maintenance on the machines as needed.
· Report any issues to the Supervisor, or appropriate personnel, as soon as detected.
· Adhere to all policies, procedures, and/or requirements in AKG’s environmental management system (EMS).
What We’re Looking For:
· Ability to use basic computer programs.
· Must have basic mathematic skills, along with the ability to use and understand measuring tools.
· Must have great attention to detail.
· Experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
· Must be available and able to work the agreed shift.
· This position works hours from 1pm-9pm, Mon-Fri
Experience with the following is a plus:
· Must be able to walk (100%) of the time. May also be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist and turn.
· Must be able to lift to 50lbs (100%) of the time.
· Must be able to use a pallet jack and a chain hoist.
· You must use safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves. All of these are provided by AKG, except for steel toe shoes.
