Assistant Manager - Storage Facility
Job Title: Assistant Manager
Hourly Rate: $21 - $22 per hour
Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Assistant Manager to provide coverage on Tuesday, Saturdays, and Sundays. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and supporting operations during high-traffic days. Responsibilities include assisting customers with providing facility tours, processing rentals, handling payments, and ensuring a secure, clean, and welcoming environment. Prior leasing or customer service experience is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet self-storage customers and answer phones & email
- Show & rent out storage units
- Complete the lease paperwork
- Collect and apply payments
- Sweep and make ready vacant storage units
- Turn Leads and Reservations into rentals
- Assist Regional Manager
- Enforce storage facility rules and regulations and assist with tenant disputes
- Respond to tenant inquiries, work orders, and concerns promptly and with proper documentation
- Assist the Regional Manager in maintaining the curb appeal of the facility and in ensuring the facility is up to government and environmental regulations
- Ensure employee compliance with the Washington State Residential Landlord & Tenant Act
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Previous clerical/administrative experience and experience with office computers and software
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to speak to tenants and maintain good working relations with other team members and any contract laborers working on the property
