This is a founding role responsible for building and shaping the brand’s social media presence and community in Brazil from the ground up. You will act as the local voice of a globally recognized interactive entertainment experience, translating its emotional and community-driven identity into culturally relevant content. The role combines strategy, content creation, community engagement, and creator partnerships, with strong ownership over local growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with global marketing, performance, and brand teams to ensure alignment while maintaining strong local relevance. This is a highly autonomous position where your work will directly influence how a major gaming community grows in one of its most important new markets. It is ideal for someone passionate about gaming culture, storytelling, and building meaningful online communities.
- Build and launch the brand’s social media presence in Brazil from scratch, defining the local content and community strategy.
- Manage and grow social media channels, ensuring consistent engagement and culturally relevant storytelling.
- Develop and nurture an active Brazilian player community by driving daily engagement and fostering meaningful interactions.
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with local creators and influencers across gaming, art, and lifestyle communities.
- Collaborate with global performance marketing teams to support user acquisition campaigns with localized creative input.
- Partner with global brand and marketing teams to execute campaigns tied to seasonal and in-game events.
- Represent the brand at local gaming and fandom events, acting as a public-facing ambassador.
- Monitor and report on community sentiment, engagement metrics, and growth insights to inform global strategy.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, community management, or creator marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of Brazilian digital culture, gaming communities, and social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
- Proven experience working with influencers and creators, including relationship management and campaign execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese; fluent English required for global collaboration.
- Deep passion for gaming, interactive storytelling, or emotionally driven digital experiences.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous, globally distributed environment.
- Experience in performance marketing or user acquisition campaigns is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a community-first mindset.
