- Lead the development and execution of the clinical research roadmap, aligning evidence generation with strategic business and healthcare priorities.
- Design, oversee, and evaluate real-world evidence studies, prospective research, and clinical evaluations using advanced quantitative methodologies.
- Establish and maintain high standards for study methodology, analytics, governance, publication quality, and scientific integrity.
- Identify evidence gaps, formulate research questions, and develop feasible, impactful study designs.
- Provide scientific oversight for statistical analysis plans, interpretation of results, and evidence-based recommendations.
- Lead manuscript preparation, abstract submissions, scientific publications, and conference presentations.
- Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, clinical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain collaborations with academic institutions, investigators, and research organizations.
- Support thought leadership initiatives and strengthen organizational credibility within the virtual care and digital health research community.
- Mentor analysts and cross-functional teams on research methods, measurement approaches, and best practices.
- Ph.D., Sc.D., DrPH, or equivalent doctoral degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, health economics, health services research, or a related quantitative discipline; alternatively, an MPH or MS with significant relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling, causal inference, quasi-experimental designs, and advanced quantitative research methodologies.
- Proven experience conducting clinical research using large and complex healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR, digital health, or remote monitoring data.
- Experience designing and implementing randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and prospective studies with strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, R, and Python.
- Demonstrated publication history with peer-reviewed research as first or senior author.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex clinical and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating across clinical, research, analytics, quality, and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with virtual care platforms, digital health technologies, and healthcare quality frameworks is highly valued.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience includes implementation science, quality improvement research, grant writing, and academic or digital health research partnerships.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 annually
