Reverse Logistics Technical Lead

This role is a high-impact technical leadership position focused on optimizing reverse logistics operations for advanced aviation and autonomous delivery assets.
You will drive end-to-end strategies for inspection, diagnosis, repair, rebuilding, and refurbishment of complex hardware systems.
The position plays a key role in improving asset lifecycle efficiency, cost performance, and turnaround times across a highly innovative logistics environment.
You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service partners to scale robust and standardized technical processes.
A strong focus is placed on data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead technical initiatives across the full reverse logistics lifecycle, including triage, diagnostics, repair, rebuilding, and refurbishment of aviation and delivery assets.
  • Design and optimize scalable processes and standards to improve quality control, operational efficiency, and asset recovery performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as engineering, manufacturing, and external service providers to enhance end-to-end reverse logistics flows.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including repair guides, troubleshooting frameworks, and training materials.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support vendor and partner management to ensure consistent technical quality and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in reverse logistics, service engineering, maintenance engineering, or similar technical domains.
  • At least 5+ years of leadership or people management experience.
  • Strong understanding of reverse logistics processes including repair, refurbishment, asset disposition, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience applying data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or Power BI to generate actionable insights.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical projects and external vendors or service partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to root cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (20–30%).
