Radiology Attendant PRN
Radiology Attendant - Radiology Department

Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022
Work hours: PRN Shift; As Needed
Department Highlights
• Full-service Radiology dept includes CT, Nuc Med, MRI, Ultrasound (OB/GYN, vascular and procedures included), Radiology (portables, Fluoro and OR)

Here's What You Need
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
• No experience required
• PCT, Transporter, or medical background experience is preferred
Licenses and Certifications
What You Will Do
Patient Care
• Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actions
• Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions
• Greets and escorts patient, using two forms of ID and assists with time-out procedures
• Handles patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices, and assists with patient monitoring
• Demonstrates knowledge of the location and purpose of equipment
• Patient Transport
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
• Operates, cares for and cleans ancillary equipment
• Documents ancillary equipment malfunction
• Cleans equipment and room to sanitary standards
• Assists with daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checklist
Professional Accountability and Partnership
• Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancement
• Attends departmental continuing education, meetings, and checks email
• Identifies, troubleshoots and initiates quality improvement
• Manages time and reprioritizes as necessary
• Displays proper phone etiquette
