Our NSW branch is expanding and we are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join the team.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Team Leader plays a critical role in the smooth and efficient operation of our NSW warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership position where your ability to drive performance, keep your team engaged, and maintain high standards will directly impact our ability to deliver for customers. You'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations including goods inwards, order picking and packing, dispatch, and stock management while supporting your team.
Your new role:
- Supporting warehouse employees to ensure efficient and safe daily operations
- Coordinating goods inwards including receipt, labelling, storage and overseeing dispatch processes
- Managing order picking and packing to achieve maximum fill rates and delivery in full, on time (DIFOT)
- Monitoring stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions
- Maintaining accurate system data to support manufacturing and purchasing schedules
- Developing and improving warehouse systems and procedures as part of a continuous improvement culture
- Actively contributing to health and safety through leading by example
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to strategic solutions
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role
- Understanding of warehouse operations including picking, packing, and dispatch
- Experience in stock management
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills such as experience with warehouse or ERP systems
- Communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Forklift licence
